Peptide-oligonucleotide conjugation Service

Relying on advanced synthesizers, rich project experience and strong PhD think tank, we can provide high-quality peptide-oligonucleotide conjugation (POCs) services.

Introduction of POCs

Oligonucleotides are a type of short-chain nucleotides, which have strong biological activity. Selected by exponential enrichment ligand evolution (SELEX) technology, oligonucleotides can specifically bind to proteins, small molecules, ions, cells, and other receptors with strong specificity and high sensitivity, and can be used for various biosensing applications. Also, oligonucleotides can be used as gene therapy drugs or drug precursors. However, oligonucleotides have the disadvantages of poor cell permeability, easy decomposition and low affinity to the target. In contrast, peptides have small molecular weight, adjustable charge and resistance to enzymatic hydrolysis, etc. Coupling the peptide and the oligonucleotide can improve the cell permeability and the biological activity of oligonucleotides.

In recent years, the development of various peptide screening technologies, especially phage display technology, has led to the emergence of a large number of peptides with functions of identifying, detecting and treating cancer cells. The discovery of these peptides has brought new ideas and methods for the diagnosis and treatment of various cancers. By effectively linking peptides with oligonucleotides, we can obtain biomolecules with dual functions or drugs with synergistic therapeutic effects that can achieve integrated diagnosis and treatment. Therefore, peptide-oligonucleotide couplings have high practical applications in biosensing and cancer therapy.
